Fee assistance can be obtained from The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) for all health services necessary to meet a clinical need for Gold Card holders. 
This assistance is provided under the following acts:
  • Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 (VEA)
  • Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related Claims) Act 1988 (DRCA)
  • Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 (MRCA).
For White Card holders, DVA will fund those services required for their accepted conditions.

How does Isodynamic Reviver qualify?
Isodynamics Reviver qualifies as a service under the Exercise Physiology services that include the delivery of clinical exercise interventions to manage chronic disease and the provision of post-acute exercise rehabilitation for people recovering from major injury or illness. Exercise physiology contributes to the management of:
  • diabetes
  • cardiovascular disease
  • osteoporosis
  • arthritis
  • cancer, and
  • muscular conditions of a chronic nature.

How do I get access to Isodynamics Reviver?
You must be referred to an exercise physiologist who is able to provide services under the Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS). A referral can be issued by a:
  • Local Medical Officer (LMO)
  • General Practitioner (GP)
  • Medical Specialist
  • Treating Doctor in Hospital
  • Hospital Discharge Planner, or
  • Exercise Physiologist with a current referral.

Referrals remain active for 12 months and cannot overlap from one 12 month period to the next.
